Create ChatGPT SEO-friendly blogs: A step-by-step guide

In the modern digital marketing landscape, businesses are constantly looking for ways to stay ahead of their competitors. One of the most effective and powerful strategies is to leverage the power of both search engine optimization (SEO) and artificial intelligence (AI). When used together, these two powerful technologies can create an unbeatable combination that can help businesses achieve their goals and objectives. Today, we are going to talk about one of the best AI tools in terms of SEO content creation, ChatGPT.

What is ChatGPT?

ChatGPT is a natural language processing (NLP) system developed by OpenAI, designed to generate human-like conversations from a given prompt. It utilizes a deep learning technique called transformer to generate coherent conversations based on the input given.

ChatGPT is being used to provide customer service and support in a variety of industries such as the healthcare industry, retail industry, and education industry. It is even believed it could replace Google, due to its ability to give solutions to complex problems.

In this post, we are going to focus on how to use ChatGPT to create content, get optimized blog posts, headings, and ideas, just by entering prompts.

Weaknesses of ChatGPT

So far, we have seen that ChatGPT is a very interesting tool in terms of content creation. Nevertheless, it is still a work-in-progress intelligence. There is much to be accomplished yet in terms of AI and, by using and testing this incredible tool, we have noticed some aspects to improve.

  • Wrong Answers: ChatGPT sometimes produces answers that are wrong or even make no sense. The app might not be able to answer a question correctly if it is phrased in a certain way, or asked multiple times.
  • Grammar: Some answers we get from ChatGPT are wordy and hard to read, repeating the same idea in different ways. Although it is great to identify and correct grammar mistakes, the answers it provides do not sound natural sometimes.
  • Biased Intelligence: Like other chatbots, ChatGPT tends to show biased information (and even make it up). When Vendure’s co-founder and CTO, Michael Bromley, asked ChatGPT about its opinion about humans, the answer was frightening.

There is no one better than ChatGPT itself to explain its main weaknesses, so we just asked it.

Conclusion:

In the words of Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, “ChatGPT is incredibly limited but good enough in some ways to create a misleading impression of greatness. It’s a mistake to rely on it for anything important right now. It’s a preview of progress; we have a lot of work to do in terms of robustness and veracity.”

According to our own experience, we can conclude that ChatGPT is a very useful tool in terms of SEO.

Even though we have only tried the free version, its accuracy and the results it provides are impressive in terms of content creation (the use of ChatGPT goes much further) but not reliable enough. It can be an excellent supportive tool to help us create content, but not reliable to write it on its own.
